Apollo Soyuz, Deke Slayton's "Personal" Crew Patch. This 5" crew patch is virtually identical to the normal crew patch except for the addition of orange "DKS" initials at the bottom. Beautifully sewn and rarely available. A great addition to any collection. Comes with COA that reads: "This is to certify this autographed beta cloth belonged to my husband, Deke Slayton, and was flown in 1975 on the Apollo/Soyuz mission. Mission patch beta cloth (5½" square) signed in margins by Brand, Stafford,Slayton, Leonov & Kubasov. 2005 Bobbi Slayton COA that reads: "This is to certify this autographed beta cloth belonged to my husband, Deke Slayton, and was flown in 1975 on the Apollo/Soyuz mission. It was locked in his safety deposit box along with other flown material. This beta cloth is genuine in all respects." Vintage, Used Mission Control Headset Property of the Flight Director from ASTP to Early Shuttle Flights. Vintage original Mission Control headset from the mid-1970s manufactured by Pacific Plantronics, Inc property of the Flight Director beginning with AST to the early Shuttle Flights. Headset is complete with earpiece and plug, microphone, cord, volume control with belt clip and hilariously large double pronged adaptor plug. Burned into the side of the black plastic volume control is the serial MSC 2059. A lot of history passed through this headset and the first time we have offered such an iconic piece of equipment that all but defines the men and women in Mission Control. In fine used condition. Apollo-Soyuz Test Project Star Charts, Flight Plans, and Handbooks, Property of the Flight Director. Nice collection of ASTP, Apollo Soyuz Test Project materials. 1.) Two sets of star charts one with notations by the Flight Director indicating "sunrise" and "sunset". 2.) A FINAL REVISION Flight Plan dated July 3, 1975 which include charts and tables, detailed flight plans, rendezvous and orbital phases and more. 3.) A Guidance Consol Handbook dated August 16, 1984 representing the guidance console procedures of ASTP missions. 4.) The soft bound ASTP book containing the CM software details, CRT displays, Perturbations, Auto-pilot notes and much more as published by Delco Electronics. Large archive of one of the flight directors involved in the 1975 Apollo Soyuz Test Project which brought to reality a 1972 agreement between the US and Soviet Union to work toward a common docking system for future generations of spacecraft. Offered is quite the archive of materials in five manuals, files and loose documents, including Deorbit Techniques, Flight Plans a comprehensive 113 page press kit, documents and nine photos of the Mission Profile, Crewmen Mission Control and of this flight director receiving a commendation. Some toning on press kit cover otherwise all well archived and maintained. Note all of these materials are in English. Estimate Value $200 - UP

From the Flight Planning Branch Crew Training & Procedures Division, a comprehensive timeline and mapping book for photographing Earth as well a operational stowage for equipment using the Hasselblad data camera system, Nikon camera system, 16 mm system and flight data files. 12 tabbed and numbered sites in the book such as The Gulf of Mexico, Northern US, Northern Atlantic, South America, Australia, Africa, Europe and more, are illustrated and charted for photography.
